| SonicWall - Firewall Configuration Instructions |
Welcome to the Intellinet / Sonicwall support site. This site is intended for use by Intellinet clients to guide them in the installation and configuration of the SonicWall VPN software on their home desktop / laptop computer systems.
You have been directed to this site because your home / company network is protected by a SonicWall firewall, protecting your network from unauthorized intrusions. Your company SonicWall is configured to only accept access from remote users who connect using a VPN connection and provide the necessary authentication information (login user ID and password).
Before you run off looking for some box mark "VPN", relax. A VPN nothing more than a technique we use to secure the connection between two computer systems over the Internet. In your case, between your home desktop computer or remotely located laptop (i.e. Starbucks?). Everything you need to install and setup the VPN is here on this site.
It is important that you know what operating systems your home / laptop system runs (Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 or Windows XP).
